Dillon

The centerpiece of the Town of Dillon is the Dillon Reservoir. The Dillon Reservoir was completed in 1963 and is an important water source for Denver and the surrounding communities. It now serves beyond that purpose and is a favorite place to recreate during the summer with fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, sailboats, canoes and camping along the shoreline. The summer weather in Dillon can be expected to be right around 74 degrees, perfect for any activity.

In the winter, the Town of Dillon and the Dillon Reservoir still offer outdoor enthusiasts a place to play. The Town of Dillon creates groomed "lake loops" for everyone to walk, cross-country ski, snowshoe or fat bike and enjoy stunning views of Peak One and Buffalo Mountain.

Dillon is also located within an hour of seven world-class ski areas, including Keystone Ski Resort (12 mins), Arapahoe Basin Ski Area (17 mins), Cooper Mountain (18 mins), Loveland Ski Area (22 mins), Breckenridge Ski Resort (31 mins), Vail Mountain (38 mins), and Beaver Creek (51 mins). Winter in Dillon is right around 32 degrees.

Dillon real estate is highly desired and expect to pay a premium price for lakefront real estate.
